Steve's diverse employment law practice includes ERISA litigation,
representation of employers before the EEOC, defense of employment
discrimination and wrongful termination lawsuits, litigation of employment
contract disputes, trade secret and non-competition agreement litigation,
employee handbook review and drafting and generally providing advice
regarding employment and personnel matters. In addition to employment
matters, Steve has extensive business litigation experience, including
construction disputes, lien enforcement litigation and business torts.
Representative examples of the cases tried by Steve include construction
disputes, assault and battery, premises liability, automobile accidents,
product liability and consumer protection claims. Representative clients
come from a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, retail,
wholesale, tourism, transportation, construction and professional service
providers.
Steve was previously a law clerk to U.S. District Judge L. Clure Morton of the Middle District of Tennessee.
